Meet the InstructorsRichard Meyer - Sah Dan
In 1996, he moved to Santa Fe and opened Tang Soo Do of Santa Fe, where he has been teaching for the last 13 years. He believes in hard work and regular practice, but keeps a good sense of humor in his classes, which helps people bring out their best. Meyer also took up the study of Aikido seven years ago, to add to his martial art knowledge. Angela Gulick - Sam Dan
After having moved to the United States, she began practicing Tang Soo Do under Richard Meyer in 1999. She has been teaching at Tang Soo Do of Santa Fe for nine years. She loves the challenge of finding the right way to relate the techniques and spirit to each individual and to the class as a whole. Her daughters have also been practicing at this school for seven years. Among other achievements in the past, Angela was Female Sparring Grand Champion, and Forms Grand Champion at the Tucson Tang Soo Do Championships in 2008, and just became All Adult Male and Female Forms Grand Champion and All Adult Female Sparring Grand Champion at the 2009 Tucson Tang Soo Do Championships. >> Read about Angela's marathon experience Cathra-Anne Barker - Cho Dan
At 67, she is our most senior student. She started to train for a different kind of exercise with more meaning than just staying fit. She loves the camaraderie of the class and the mutual support and respect the practitioners have for one another. Amy Dalness - Cho Dan
